Week 1 Review – So how did we fare this week?

I am really glad. All your support, shares, likes, kindness and words of encouragement are what keeps me and all of us going. So let me begin by thanking the handful few who’ve been with us every step of the way.

You guys are amazing. Thank you. Thank you so very much.

Also, I would like to take a tiny moment out to thank two amazing human beings – Pragati and Hasanthi. Thanks for volunteering as a back-end listener. You guys rock. It might be frustrating patiently waiting for someone to turn up – but I promise you, they’ll come.

As for me, it’s been a rocky week. To having written this article ( and it receiving 75 shares ) about the terrible plague that's affecting our generation, to having just 20 visits in a day – I’ve been flipping all over the place. I tend to do it all the time honestly. Over-thinking is kind of my thing.

Let me not waste anymore of your time and begin.

So, how did we fare?

We did well. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier. We published a total of 9 articles this week. This and this were contributions from people.

7 others were written by the Editorial Team.

We wrote about social media, inspiration, our never-ending search for happiness, fear of missing out and empathy. I sincerely hope you guys could relate.

I am sure you’ve noticed the tone is a tad bit different from the articles you read online. We make it a point to cite personal examples. Because if you can’t trust us why would you listen to us?

Now we come to stats.

We received around 500+ visits this week last I checked. No posts have been made to the Safe-Haven yet – And one of the reasons could be our Share Your Story button wasn’t working for quite a while and we didn’t really notice.

I apologize deeply for that. It will be resolved soon. In the meantime, if anonymity isn't an issue send us your piece to - contribute@thewallandus.com.

We completed ONE chat. It was another milestone and I hope he/she felt a little better after our conversation. I really do.

Our Bounce Rate is fairly okay considering we’ve just begun. It’s 52.88 percent. The average time someone spent on the site was five and a half minutes.

One person subscribed to our Newsletter though. So I need to know. Is there something wrong with the placement of the box at the bottom of the page and also is the pop-up showing – It’s timed to two minutes so it doesn’t annoy you guys. Do let me know by dropping an email at – admin@thewallandus.com.

Because it’s as much your website as it is ours. Any other queries, questions or suggestions - feel free to drop by.

That’s pretty much the most important ones.

So that’s all from me this week. Hope to talk to some more of you soon. Remember the site lets you remain anonymous. So, if you don’t want to, no one knows who you are. Not even us.

Always remember.

I am here for you. I care.

We all do.

Let us #breakthatwall together.
