Week 3 Review - So how did we fare this week?

So this week we haven’t done so well. That happened for the following reasons –

1) I had a deadline to start our Web Series – What Really Matters.

2) I had too much work all throughout the week.

3) I have not been well.

Now I will explain all the three aforementioned points but before I do, I’ll share the stats of the week.

From 10th of April to 17th of April we had 446 Page-views and 125 Unique Users who completed 191 Sessions.

Also, last week, I told you I was going to write for Youniquemag but that hasn’t worked out yet and I will get to that in a minute.

We completed 2-3 chats this week and our video The Conversation We Never Had had around 1800 views.

If you haven’t seen it yet go watch it now.

Now about Episode 1 – It wouldn’t have been possible without the kind and talented Vernon Noronha.

His music is awesome and believe me when I tell you, you need to listen to this song. (You can thank me later!)

I was introduced to him by a friend who wouldn’t stop about how we sounded so similar. The biggest compliment anyone could give me.

You can find him on Facebook or listen to his music on Youtube.

Cheers man. You rock!

Now coming back to why we didn’t do too well this week.

We uploaded one post this week – It was an anonymous contribution from our community. He wrote about the loss of his father which honestly broke my heart into a million pieces. Read it if you haven’t already and don’t forget to reach out to him.

The video did not do too well - Now there is something you guys do not know. Doing all of this requires money and I have none. I have been struggling to pay people and with no revenue coming in I can’t afford interns anymore.

The reason I needed someone to keep writing for me is because that gives me ample time to focus on other things to grow the website like Guest Posts, Collaborations, Building Back-Links, etc.

After letting the last of them go – I am overwhelmed by the amount of work that I have to put in every day. Not even kidding.

Write a script, edit posts, write guest posts, send emails, insert keywords, edit the video, social media, complete assignments, etc.

But it’s all right. Every good idea requires sacrifice.

Lastly, I haven’t been too well. I haven’t been sleeping well and little things like someone telling me, “You can’t give up so easily”, are getting to me.

That’s still okay. Forget about it.

Now I reached out to understand what went wrong with the video and I was really glad by the number of people who helped me out. People who I will probably never even meet.

It was heartening and if you’re reading this – You know who you are. Thank you.

Episode 2 comes out this Saturday or Sunday. Keep an eye out on the page for more updates.

In conclusion, have a little faith. Not every week can be rainbows and roses.

Also, sorry I couldn’t show any improvement this week. Will make up for it this week. I promise.

Take care. That’s all from me today.

Have a great week.
