Philosophy Of Life

Don’t lose hope. Life is preparing you for something better. Have faith and be patient

Nothing in life is permanent. Just like night goes and day comes, and rainy season passes and summer or winter comes, your life also has different seasons and whatever it is you are going through, will also pass. Life is beautiful and you will eventually see it’s beauty and the truth, one day or another. Do not grieve too early or become sad just yet, and wait until the next few chapters of life are revealed. Until then, have faith, breathe and have patience. The bad times will pass and good times will come. Instead of thinking negatively “why is my life so bad” “why are these things happened to me”, ask yourself “what is life trying to teach me? Everything is a learning experience and until you learn it, it will continue to come in your path. Pain doesn’t just come into our lives for no reason. It comes into our lives to remind us that something has to change (Quote by Mandy Hale). So ask yourself, “what do I need to change”. Just like your tooth doesn’t hurt until something is wrong, the heart doesn’t hurt other than indicate to you something needs to be different. What if I told you your life was going to be amazing – isn’t it a waste to worry and be negative? Change your thoughts and perceptions to change your life.

Self Awareness – being your most authentic self

This above all: to thine own self be true” said Shakespeare in his play Hamlet.
Who are you within? Do your friends and family know who you are? Are you a person who can be themselves with others, or do you hide your self to be accepted? Do you try too hard to fit in, with the fear that ‘they’ won’t accept you? That they won’t like you? Don’t try to be someone you are not, find your tribe; wait for them to arrive. If you keep accepting people who don’t make you feel loved or supported the way you are, then how will you meet those who will show you the love you need? Remember, to be accepted and to accept others is the highest form of love, and if you can’t be that in any place, then you either need to change yourself or where/with whom you are. It’s not worth the struggle or the facade.

Pain is inevitable; suffering is optional

“We suffer not from the events in our lives, but from our judgements about them”

– Epictetus

How is it possible that someone who’s lost limbs can be happier than someone who has both hands? How can someone who’s poor be happier than someone who’s rich AF?

It’s because life depends not on what happens to us, but how we perceive what happens to us. If you choose to focus on “what did I learn from this”, you will realize that everything we go through teaches us to manage something else in the future.

Remember, it’s all in the mind.
